Defence tech company QinetiQ wanted support with a push-to-talk communications device. Our brief was to create radio casework that could endure extreme environments.
We began creating concepts for casework that could thrive in various harsh outdoor conditions. Next, we developed the design, ensuring it kept to regulatory and environmental requirements.
Rapid prototyping to volume manufacture
We utilised our in-house facilities for initial testing, de-risking and customer presentations. Small batch manufacture trials meant an easy transition from prototype to volume production.
The Bracer Radio is one of the most reliable commercial tactical satellite handsets available. Its secure and discrete design meets user needs. The robust device successfully operates across the planet’s harshest environments.
